Christin Kim is a music educator with a passion for fostering musical growth and inspiring a love for music in her students. With a Bachelor of Music degree and an Artist Certificate from Azusa Pacific University in Los Angeles, California, as well as a Masters of Music from the Chicago College of Performing Arts, Christin has received comprehensive training in music theory, performance, and pedagogy.

Christin's journey in music began at a tender age of four when she first sat at the piano keys. Encouraged by her Montessori mom, she discovered her natural affinity for the instrument and quickly developed a deep connection with music. Recognizing her potential, her parents provided her with formal music lessons, which became the foundation of her lifelong passion for music.

With a strong commitment to her own growth as an educator, Christin pursued additional qualifications as a Royal Conservatory of Music Teacher and became affiliated with the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music. These esteemed credentials have equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of the Royal Conservatory Music curriculum, allowing her to effectively prepare her students for their merit level exams. Christin's dedication to her students' success is evident in her meticulous attention to detail and her ability to guide them towards achieving their fullest potential.

With over 15 years of teaching experience, Christin has honed her craft and developed a profound understanding of working with students of all ages and skill levels. Her expertise extends to very young children and beginners, where she excels in establishing a strong foundation in technique and musical understanding. She recognizes the importance of instilling good fundamental techniques from the outset, allowing her students to develop strong technical skills while fostering their innate musicality.

Throughout her teaching career, Christin has had the privilege of witnessing the transformative power of music in her students' lives. Her teaching style is characterized by its warmth, patience, and adaptability. She understands that each student is unique, with their own strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles. As such, she tailors her approach to meet the individual needs and goals of each student, providing a supportive and encouraging learning environment.
